HTRI is a technology company providing products and services to the process industry. Since 1962, we have been working to understand heat transfer and thermal processes. Not just basic understanding, but deep knowledge that helps our customers achieve a competitive advantage in all things heat transfer. Our staff conducts application-oriented research on industrially relevant equipment at our state-of-the-art facility; we use these proprietary data to develop methods and software for the thermal design and analysis of heat exchangers and fired heaters. Additionally, we provide technical support to all members and offer training, consulting, and contract services to both members and non-members. Most of the companies using HTRI products and services are in the oil & gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries, but our products and services have broad application in other areas including food and pharmaceuticals, data center cooling, cryogenics, and commercial and residential HVAC..
