Uno de los principios elementales de la termodinámica es es la transferencia de calor. Y este fenómeno es el paso de energía térmica desde un cuerpo de mayor temperatura a otro de menor temperatura, es la segunda ley de la termodiinámica. En muchos procesos industriales es necesario impedir la transferencia y/o perdida de calor asi que se necesitan implementar aislantes térmicos como el thermaflex.
